Teaching Philosophy Power Statement

I want to become a music teacher to empower students to explore and appreciate music while learning valuable life skills through music education. In my classroom, students will experience music from around the world and have opportunities to dive deeper into their individual musical interests. Through this process, they will develop important life skills such as punctuality, hard work, discipline, consistency, empathy, passion, and teamwork. My goal is to guide students in not only becoming better musicians, but also confident, empathetic individuals who carry the lessons of music into every part of their lives.
